Relays Sweep, Volz Wins Surprise Gold on Penultimate Day in Bydgoszcz
BYDGOSZCZ, Poland -- Anchored by the individual 100m champions, both Team USA 4x100-meter relays rolled to gold, and the U.S. got a surprise gold in the field events Saturday on day five of the IAAF World Under-20 Championships at Zawisza Stadium. Firmly ensconced at the top of the medal table with nine golds and 17 total medals, the U.S. also held an almost-100 point lead in the team scoring with 170 with one day to go.

Harrison breaks 28-year-old 100m hurdles world record in London
LONDON -- Keni Harrison set the 100m hurdles world record at the IAAF Diamond League meeting in London Friday evening, crossing in 12.20 (+0.3) to break Yordanka Donkova’s previous world record of 12.21 from 1988.

Storming Norman leads four-medal night for Team USA
BYDGOSZCZ, Poland -- Two dominant efforts brought double gold to Team USA Friday on day four of the IAAF World U20 Championships at Zawisza Stadium. With four medals on the night, the U.S. sits atop the table with 13, including six golds, and dominates the scoring with 128 points.
Taylor DeLoach didn’t waste any time letting people know she would be a dominant force in track and field at St. Vincent’s and her club team On Your Mark Sports. As a freshman, she won region titles in three events and was state runner-up in the long jump. She established new state records in the long jump and the 200 and captured six state titles during her sophomore and junior years. Her athletic abilities carried her to a top-10 ranking at the 2015 New Balance National Outdoor meet and a top-three finish in the 2015 Junior Olympic Games. Her accomplishments earned a scholarship to Ohio State University. .
