INDIANAPOLIS - USA Track & Field has announced the women’s marathon team as the first members of Team USA who will compete at this summer’s IAAF World Championships in Moscow, Russia.

Trafeh Sets American Record at USA 25 km Championships
INDIANAPOLIS – A quick early pace and a competitive field helped to propel Mo Trafeh to an American record of 1:14:18 as Dot McMahan took the Women’s title in 1:25:52 at the USA 25 km Championships in Grand Rapids, Mich., hosted by the Fifth Third River Bank Run.

INDIANAPOLIS – Going head-to-head for the fourth time in 2013, Brianne Nelson and Mattie Suver headline the women’s field at the USA 25km Championships this Saturday in Grand Rapids, Mich. hosted by the Fifth Third River Bank Run.

Men’s and women’s American teams will again travel to compete in the longest contested running foot-race in the world at the 2013 International Association of Ultrarunning (IAU) World 24-Hour Championships Saturday and Sunday in Steenbergen, the Netherlands.

Reese, Whiting perform big as Diamond League season kicks off in Doha
Brittney Reese and Ryan Whiting both got their Diamond League seasons off to a strong start Friday as each recorded meet records and world-leading marks in their respective events in Doha. Doha marked the official start to the Diamond League season, which will include a total of 14 meets during the 2013 season.

Track & Field Championship - Open and Masters
When: June 1-2, 2013
Where: Emory University, Atlanta
Who can enter: Event is open to all athletes ages 19-29 in the Open division, and ages 30-105 in the Masters division; USATF membership is not required for participation; all are welcome. Only USATF GA members may earn medals or title of "Champion." Athletes outside of Georgia and outside of the US are welcome.

Entry fee: $25 per athlete; unlimited event entries.
