| Hall of Fame Nomination Criteria |
| ATHLETES |
Recorded an important performance(s) while a resident of Georgia. |
| Be a member of the governing body of the sport. |
| Be a Georgia high school graduate, or attended college in Georgia. |
| Born in Georgia, or a Georgia resident a minimum of 10 years. |
| Must no longer be competing as a youth or elite athlete for 5 years. |
| Masters athlete achievements must be made at the age of 40 or older. |
| COACHES |
Made significant contribution to coaching in Georgia. |
| Compiled an outstanding record of coaching champions at the level coached (e.g. national open, national collegiate, state high school, etc.). |
| Compiled an extraordinary winning record or have achieved other outstanding accomplishments. |
| Coached for a minimum of 10 years. |
| Retired for at least five years from active, full-time coaching, except where she/he has coached for twenty (20) years or more. |
| OFFICIALS |
Made significant contributions to officiating in the Georgia Association. |
| Must have officiated for a minimum of 20 years. |
| ADMINISTRATORS / CONTRIBUTORS |
| Having served the Athletics community with special distinction. |
| Having worked within the Athletics community in its best interests in an outstanding manner for at least twenty (20) years. |
| Having achieved other outstanding accomplishments. |
