USATF Georgia

The Georgia Track & Field Committee is charged with supervising, controlling, coordinating, and encouraging Track & Field activity for women and men, over the age of 18, including:

Track events - running events conducted on a 400 meter track - from sprints up to 400m; middle distance to 3,000m; and long distance to 5,000m. Other events include steeplechase, hurdles and relays.
Field events - throwing events that include shot put, hammer throw, javelin, and discus; and jumping events that include high jump, pole vault, long jump, and triple jump.

Mission Statement - USATF Georgia Association Olympic Trials Travel Grant

The purpose of the USATF Georgia Association Olympic Trials Travel Grant is to assist Georgia athletes who have excelled in their respective event(s). As part of the Track & Field Committee's mission to promote the sport, this grant will be used to provide financial support to Georgia athletes in their athletic pursuits.
